1. Unless otherwise provided for in individual tariff
items, where a Carrier is required to perform the
following service due to the nature of the commodity being
transported or by request of the Shipper, a charge as
shown will be assessed for such service:
- Remove the container door - $376.00 (A)
This charge is for the account of the freight.
2. When cargo is shipped with door(s) removed, whether at
the express instruction of the Shipper or due to the
inherent nature of the commodity being transported, the
Carrier shall not be held directly or indirectly respon-
sible for:
a. Damage resulting from weather, improper packing,
bracing, securing, mixing of cargo within containers or
Shipper's use of unsuitable or inadequate protective and
securing materials;
b. Any discrepancy in count or concealed damage.
