For containers tendered to Carrier at Carrier's Long Beach
CY on Long Beach bills of lading which are, by mutual
consent of Carrier and Shipper, to be moved over the road
to Oakland for loading to Carrier's vessel, Carrier may,
at its option, reimburse delivering carrier for the actual
cost (up to a maximum of $15 per container) for obtaining
a
certified scale weight from a public scale prior to
tendering. Certified weight documentation (weight ticket
with axle weights) must be surrendered to Carrier upon
delivery of the container at the Long Beach CY in order to
be eligible to apply for reimbursement.
