History
A.  Carrier will "Rough Clean" its tank equipment before
furnishing to Shippers.  "Rough Clean" means to clean
so as to be reasonably free from residue of prior
shipments.  Responsibility rests with Shippers to
determine whether tank equipment which has been rough
cleaned by Carrier is suitable for use in transporting
    Shipper's goods.
B.  Carrier will, if requested, advise Shipper or
Shipper's agent as to commodity last transported in
the tank equipment furnished and shall, on arrival of
the empty equipment, permit inspection of the
equipment by Shipper or its agent.

C.  Shipper may elect at Shipper's own expense to reclean
the interior of the equipment furnished.  Acceptance
of a Tank Container with or without recleaning by the
Shipper shall relieve Carrier of responsibility for
any damage to goods carried resulting from the
condition of the tank equipment as to cleanliness.
