Except as otherwise specifically provided, the following
articles will not be accepted for transportation under this
Tariff:
A. Freight, Loose or in Bulk (Unpackaged), except when
prior arrangements have been concluded with Carrier.
B. Freight, Loose on Platforms of Pallets, except when
prior arrangements have been concluded with Carrier.
C. Freight which because of its inherent vice is likely
to impregnate or otherwise damage Carrier's containers
or other cargo.
D. Live Animals, or Fowl, or Birds, Domestic or Wild.
E. Freight which requires protection from heat or cold
except for freight moving under Refrigerated Service
at specific temperatures as provided elsewhere in this
tariff.
F. All goods, including letters, parcels, packages or
pieces, with or without postage stamps affixed, which
prior to receipt by Carriers have been received by and
entered into any U.S. Post Office.
G. Bank bills, deeds, drafts, notes or valuable paper of
any kind; jewelry, except costume or novelty jewelry;
postage stamps or letters and packets of letters with
or
without postage stamps affixed; precious metals or
other
related or unrelated old, rare, or precious articles of
extraordinary value.
H. NOT USED
I. Boats, not packed in accordance with provisions of the
NMFC. Boats tendered on trailers or cradles must be
approved for movement by Carrier's Operations
Department
before they will be considered accepted for shipment.
J. Christmas Trees and Evergreens, Decorative, Cut, N.O.S.
moving in non-refrigerated service, except at Shipper's
risk.
K. Holly, Mistletoe, Huckleberry Foliage, Ground Pine or
Evergreen Moss, except when moving under refrigerated
service, when tendered loose not in packages, or when
tendered in packages at points other than Container
Freight Station.
L. NOT USED
M. Single pieces or packages which, because of their
height, length, width or weight cannot be loaded wholly
within the inside of containers; or any single piece or
package which because of its size, bulk, or weight is
beyond the capacity of one man to load or ounload or
cannot be safely handled by one man without assistance
other than that of a forklift truck, unless advance
arrangements are made with Carriers and the Shipper or
Consignee load and unload such pieces or packages or
pay the Heavy Lift Charge in Rule 568; or if such piece
weighs less than 20,000 lbs., pay Carriers for the
actual cost of the extra labor and equipment required
to accomplish such loading and unloading.

R. Hazardous Waste, except when prior arrangements have
been concluded with Carrier.
S. Articles unlawful to transport.
T. Freight of a dangerous character which in Carrier's
view cannot be carried without exposing other property
or persons to an undue or unreasonable hazard.
U. Freight which in Carrier's view is so improperly
packed that its transportation in that condition will
entail an element of undue or unreasonable hazard to
other property or persons.
V. Firearms or Ammunition or other goods in violation of
any of the provisions of Title 18 United States Code
Section 921, et seq (commonly known as the Gun Control
Act of 1968). If Carrier knows or has reasonable cause
to believe that the transportation or receipt of
Firearms or Ammunition or other goods is in violation
of the provisions of the Gun Control Act of 1968 or
other provisions of Federal, State, or Municipal Law,
upon request Shipper must certify that the shipment is
lawful and agree to indemnify Carriers for any criminal
or civil liability that arises from transportation or
receipt of such firearms, ammunition or other goods.
