Customs Obligations
A. It is the Shipper's obligation to furnish Carrier with
proper export or Customs documentation as required.
B. Shipper and Consignee jointly and severally shall
indemnify and hold harmless the Carrier for any losses,
damages, expenses, liabilities, fines and penalties
incurred
as a result of Shipper's or Consignee's breach of their
obligation to submit all required documentation to U.S.
Customs for goods shipped, to obtain proper U.S. Customs
notification of arrival, to obtain U.S. Customs
authorization or clearance of goods shipped prior to
delivery and to advise the Carrier in a timely fashion of
the bonded status of goods shipped prior to vessel
departure
and of any hold requirements related to such bonded goods.
