The liability of the Carrier as to the value of shipments
at the rates provided herein shall be determined in
accordance with the clauses of the Carrier's regular bill
of lading. If Shippers desire to be covered for
valuation in excess of that amount provided for in the
Carrier's regular bill of lading, the Shipper must so
stipulate on the face of the Carrier's bill of lading
covering such shipments. Additional liability will be
assumed by the Carrier at the request of the Shipper upon
payment of a charge of two percent of the total declared
valuation. The Ad Valorem Charge shall be in addition to
all other rates and charges in effect on the shipment.
