Rate Notes

NOTE 1 - Freight charges will NOT be assessed on dunnage or
securing or protective materials used by Shipper provided
the weight thereof does NOT exceed 1,700 lbs. in each
container and is declared on the shipping documents. In no
event shall less than the minimum CL weight be used in
assessing freight charges.

NOTE 2 - Rates in this Item shall also apply on
plasterboard
joint, texturing or system compounds, calcined patching
plaster and steel frames, studs, channels and trim provided
that the Plasterboard joint, texturing or system compounds,
calcined patching plaster, frames, studs, channels and trim
(1) do not collectively exceed 7500 lbs. in a container
and (2) are loaded to a container with at least 32,000 lbs
of other cargo as described in this Item.

NOTE 3 - Insulation Material in bundles may be loaded to a
container moving under this item at a rate of $30.80/CWT,
provided that the Insulation Material does not exceed the
lesser of 5,000 pounds or 500 cubic feet per container and
has a density of not less than 5 pounds per cubic foot and
is loaded to a container with at least 32,000 pounds of
cargo described in this item.

NOTE 4 - Rates in this item shall also apply on Insulating
Boards, Sheets and Tiles and Lattice panels provided that
the Insulating Boards, Sheets and Tiles, (1) do not
collectively exceed 10% of the weight of the cargo in a
container and (2) is loaded in a container with at least
32,000 pounds of other cargo described in this item.

NOTE 5 - As an exception to the definition of Container
Cargo, cargo moving under this Item loaded to flatrack
containers may extend beyond the perimeter in width up to
two inches per side.

NOTE 6 - Commodity described herein applies on the
following
tradenames and industry terminology:
Gypsum Wallboard;
Gypboard;
Drywall;
Plasterboard;
Sheetrock;
Gypsum Board;
Backing Board, Cementitious, in sheets.


NOTE 7 - As an exception to Rule 505 Free Time for
containers at Carrier's Hawaii CY will be 15 calendar days.
