- 1. Rates apply on dry bulk or packaged Feed or Wheat.
2. Rates in this item apply on Livestock Salt only when
shipper certifies on the bill of lading that: "The salt
described on this bill of lading is livestock salt and
consignee by acceptance of the cargo certifies it will be
used for animal feed and for no other purpose".
3. Rates for Poultry Feed in this item apply only on feed
for chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and pigeons.
4. Rates in this item shall also apply on empty Feed Bags,
Fence posts, Fencing, Livestock Handling Equipment, or Tack
Supplies (Stable Gear) provided that the Empty Feed Bags,
Fence Posts, Fencing, Livestock Handling Equipment, or Tack
Supplies (Stable Gear):
(1) do not collectively exceed 15 percent of the weight of
the cargo in a container and
(2) is loaded in a container with at least 24,000 pounds
of other cargo as described in this item.
5. Rates in this item shall also apply on Egg Cartons and
Filler Flats provided that the Egg Cartons and Filler
Flats:
(1) do not collectively exceed 5 percent of the weight of
the cargo in a container and
(2) is loaded in a container with at least 24,000 pounds
of other cargo as described in this item.
